The Hull Young People's Parliament team, with Precious, who is one of Hull's UK Youth Parliament Members visited Priory Primary this afternoon. They led a Pop-Up Parliament session with year 5 & 6 members of the Junior Leadership Team. The Eco Committee at Newland School for Girls welcomed Lauren Murtagh from 'Living With Water' this afternoon for another great workshop. The focus was on Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDs). The students had to identify an area of the school campus that was prone to flooding and devise a scheme for it. We were really impressed with the variety of different solutions presented. Sidmouth Primary School's Junior Leadership Team have been very busy this term. In the most recent trust Pupil Voice & Influence survey, children across the school had felt that kindness was really important to them and something they wanted to promote and celebrate.
