Many thanks to the Woodland Trust for helping students and staff at The Boulevard Academy to create a green space, which will give much-needed shade on hot days. Once established, the hedgerow will provide a screen and also encourage wildlife. Students and staff alternated the tree species and followed instructions from the Woodland Trust. Students measured, dug and planted the trees. All the students were from the STEM afterschool club. This should provide a green legacy for the future students, adding biodiversity to the school site.
