We've had a brilliant Thrive Eco Conference on Thursday 3rd March. Oldfleet Primary were wonderful hosts and our guest speaker, Liz Smith from Hull City Council was superb. We had 42 students from all nine of our schools in the first face to face, non-remote meeting in two years. Liz told students all about her work in waste management and recycling. The students discussed where our city's waste is taken to and what is done with it. Liz had prepared an activity, which involved sorting rubbish into different categories - General Waste, Green Waste and Recycling.
