Thrive Eco Committee Reps met in the grand surroundings of Newland School for Girls' main hall this afternoon for a debate. The question being posed to students was "Should We Eat Less Meat to Save the Environment". Following a presentation, students worked in groups to research arguments for and against the motion. They then took turns to read out and explain their reasoning in a healthy debate. It was a great way to get students talking about an Eco issue. Our profound thanks go to Newland School for Girls for being superb hosts today.
