Biodiversity, Healthy Eating & Litter Picking are high on Sidmouth Primary School Pupil's Agenda

Having had a Spring Eco Challenge encouraging pupils and families to close curtains and blinds to save heat loss, the amazing pupils in their Eco team are working on their next challenges. These also link in with their Eco-Schools action plans (the school has gained the Eco Schools Green Flag award for the last two consecutive years).

  1. Once again, pupils are planning to litter pick around their school and the local community;

  2. They want to encourage biodiversity with more bird boxes, bird feeders and flowers;

  3. Pupils also want to have more healthy eating drives with events such as a meat-free days in the pipeline.
