C3 Eco Excellence in Schools Award 2025 - a Clean Sweep for all of our Thrive Schools.

This has been the first year of the brand new Eco Excellence In Schools Award from the wonderful C3 Group. All of our seven primary and three secondary schools have strong and proactive Eco Committees who demonstrate time and time again that they are dedicated to helping the environment. As well as many in-school projects the schools like to collaborate with other organisations and businesses. This year, all of our schools have been busy collecting plastic bottle tops through the Schoolcycled project (part of the 'My Group' company) and our secondary schools have been part of the 'Oh Yes, Net Zero' project. While we have all been celebrating receiving this first award, the schools have already been working with Hull University on an exciting Eco Games project for this year.

Our very special thanks got to Aaliyah, Jessica and Lucy who have been so wonderful with the children when they have conducted their reviews and presentations.
