Sidmouth Primary Eco Committee had a very productive meeting yesterday afternoon. They have several ideas that they are going to pop in a newsletter to send out to families. These will have some top tips for saving energy and reducing carbon emissions at home and school.
The challenge they have chosen for the spring term is all about closing curtains and blinds to keep in the warmth. So much heat is lost through not doing this simple thing. Pupils thought this would be an easy, and completely cost-free, one for everyone to have a go at. They will be sharing it with the rest of the school in assembly.
