Thrive Spelling Bee Semi-Final Line Up Announced

We are delighted to announce the teams who will compete for the Thrive Spelling Bee Trophy 2026. Sponsored by Gateway Heyworth and following highly successful tournaments in 2024 & 2025, which were won by Newland Queen Bees and Kelvin Spelvinators respectively, there will be 7 primary school teams and 6 secondary teams battling it out in the semi-finals. Two teams from each semi-final will go through to the Grand Final at Hull University in July. Round 1 of the competition was open to all year 6 and 7 (almost 600) students.
